I have an earned Doctorate in Sport & Exercise Psychology, with a special emphasis in Health Psychology from Capella University. I finished with an overall GPA of 3.944. As a Doctoral Student, the emphasis of my studies was based upon the Scholar – Practitioner Model. The program addressed working with athletes addressing performance, motivation, injury recovery, and life issues. My Coursework included theoretical foundations as well as applied applications and interventions in Sport and Exercise Psychology.

I Have a Master of Science (M.S.) Degree in Psychology – Mental Health Counseling From Nova Southeastern University at the Center of Psychological Studies in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. My Education At Nova Prepared Me Well for My Clinical Career. The Program’s Emphasis Focused on the Clinical Preparation Required to Fulfill the Educational and Practicum Components Needed to Pursue Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida After Graduation. I Successfully Completed All State Requirements Obtaining My Clinical License in Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in 2000.

I Have Extensive Experience Teaching Online and On Location in the Traditional Classroom.
